Informational and Editorial Purpose

Trade Desk Content is provided for general informational and editorial purposes.

Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, nothing available through Trade Desk constitutes:

  • A job offer
  • A crew call
  • A casting notice

  • A staffing request
  • A guarantee of work
  • A promise of hiring
  • A recommendation that a person accept employment
  • Legal advice
  • Financial advice
  • Tax advice

  • Union or guild eligibility advice
  • A binding production-status confirmation
  • A professional-services relationship

Users remain responsible for independently evaluating information before making consequential employment, professional, legal, financial, production, safety, or business decisions.

Film & Television Trade Signals

A Film & Television Trade Signal is an editorial classification identifying observable and reasonably verifiable movement involving production, facilities, vendors, infrastructure, workforce conditions, business activity, policy, or related operations.

A Film & Television Trade Signal may be based on:

  • Public records
  • Official announcements
  • Direct observation
  • Documents
  • Interviews
  • Source information
  • Permits
  • Facility activity

A Film & Television Trade Signal is not:

  • A job posting
  • Confirmation that hiring has begun
  • Proof that a project is fully financed
  • Proof that a project will proceed
  • A recommendation to contact a production
  • A promise of employment
  • A guarantee of future activity

Trade Signal classifications may change as circumstances or evidence develop.

Film & Television Hiring Signals

A Film & Television Hiring Signal is an editorial classification identifying documented activity that may indicate developing workforce demand.

A Hiring Signal may arise from one substantial Film & Television Trade Signal or multiple connected indicators.

A Film & Television Hiring Signal is not:

  • A job offer
  • A staffing notice
  • A crew call
  • An invitation to apply
  • Confirmation that applications are being accepted
  • Confirmation that a particular department is hiring
  • A guarantee of employment
  • A recommendation of an applicant

Hiring Signal classifications represent Socialbilitty’s editorial assessment of available information at the time of publication.

Users should verify employment information directly with the responsible employer, production company, union, guild, hiring representative, or other authorized organization.

Hiring Readiness and Confirmed Opportunities

Socialbilitty may use editorial classifications such as Hiring Readiness to describe the strength of available workforce-related indicators.

Hiring Readiness is an assessment—not a guarantee that hiring has begun or that employment will result.

A Confirmed Opportunity may be used when Socialbilitty identifies a directly actionable public employment, training, apprenticeship, fellowship, internship, or application opportunity from an identifiable responsible organization.

Users remain responsible for verifying eligibility, deadlines, compensation, requirements, and application procedures with the responsible organization.

No Employment or Hiring Relationship

Socialbilitty Trade Desk is not a:

  • Staffing agency
  • Employment agency
  • Recruiter
  • Talent agency
  • Casting office

  • Employment broker

Through the public Trade Desk website, Socialbilitty does not:

  • Accept employment applications on behalf of employers
  • Determine applicant eligibility
  • Select workers
  • Assign crew members
  • Rank candidates for employers
  • Guarantee interviews
  • Control hiring decisions
  • Determine union membership
  • Determine roster status
  • Determine contractual qualifications
  • Represent employers, unions, guilds, or applicants

  • Fellowships
  • Workshops
  • Certifications
